Hi, I can’t wait for this trip. This is going to be a lot of fun!
Here are the details. All of you will get it by e-mail and I would need a confirmation that you are meeting us so we don't wait too long.
What to do to a car before:
- check the pads and change them if possible. Watkins got a lot of hills and it is hard no brakes. I used hawk HP+ on my Vette.
- flush the brake fluid and maybe upgrade to better one. I used Ford Blue.
- if you are doing both of above then invest $100 for ss brake lines
- check the oil and change if possible
What to bring:
- helmet
- camera
- easy driving shoes
- extra qrt of oil (Corvettes require 1 q over full when on the track)
- walkie talkie (we'll be on 5.11 channel)
- radar detector
- cell phone with charger
- lugnut key
- long sleeve shirt for driving on the track
- money
I'm bringing:
- tire gauge
- lugnut tool
- digital camera
- shoe polish (white) to tell the tire wear
- timing unit (sender and receiver Hot Lap unit) [you'll need buy receiver if you want to use the sending unit $200]
- first aid
- extra walkie-talkie (let me know if you'll need it)

- We meet at 11AM and leave no later than 11:30 AM on May 19th at Nayack shopping mall by CompUSA. Exit 12 of 87/287 after TZ bridge and before Palisades (if going west)
Directions to Watkins Glen:
- 87 to exit 16 -> Rt 6 -> Rt 17 to exit 121 ->84 -> 81 ->17 exit 52 -> 14N ->414N
