Im looking to get a set of headers for my 99gts, does anyone recomend a set. Are Belanger headers really worth the $2,800 price tag?

Hi,

You'll probably get as many opinions as to which header is best as there are header manufacturers! I have Belangers and I believe that they run cool and give a little increase in HP in a NA Viper. However, the forcing cone in the collector might be too restrictive if you SC your Viper according to some older threads.

I have a set of H M S 1 3/4" headers for sale on Vipera11ey in great condition. Asking $1500. They are 5 into 1 type headers. PM if interested.

I've read that the B&B's are better for SC but they run a little hotter than the Belangers which are ceramic coated.

What's your goal? I have Belangers. I don't think they added any peak HP (per the dyno anyway) but it did add midrange torque. It shows on the track coming off of corners, especially compared to stock Vipers.

I agree with Catwood re: Belangers but I would probably suggest B&B's etc without the forcing cone in the collectors since he will be SC'ing/NOX'ing his Viper.
