I see that you gave up trying to work on your car and got a tuner to do the work for you. Some times you just have to know your limits

I am almost sure it is 45lbs first round, then to 90lbs on the second round,
can't remember the sequence though.

unless using ARP studs.. then 45-90-110 . unless using moly then it is different.

actually, you shouldn't re-use stock bolts. so get a new set. then go 35-45-75-90. use a little oil. no moly.

Joe- If I recall correctly, arent the ARP studs w/moly 86 lb/ft? I am almost positive thats what they are spec'd at from ARP...I dont even think they give an "engine oil" spec, only moly.

You are correct. less tq w/ moly. that's why i don't use it... i can never remember the specs of the moly.

For a car like vegasvipers, head studs would be a huge benefit... 10lb of boost w/ stock head bolts isn't a lot of clamping force...

but, just my .02...

This info is straight from Arrow racing. If using the stock head bolts, and they can be reused if threads are not nicked or burred, install dry because the bolts have a special coating, and as J.Dell said, torque in three stages.
45-85-110 ft lbs. This is on a GenII. Hope this helps!

manual says only up to 90 on regular bolts... 110, i dunno about that...

ya when you push the envelope you do break stuff. oh mr do all your work yourself tell brad hi for me next time you go in for(lousy)viper service.

i already got my satisfaction rebuilding the motor, installing my own blower, and tuning it all myself. i wanted an expert tuner to install my tt set-up this time around.

I only use Brad for installs that i cant do at home, belive me Brad is not a knowledgeable Viper tech and half asp most thing he does on a Viper.
