What\'s the strangest object found in your Viper!

So what have you found in your Viper, while cleaning, working on it, etc. That wasn't supposed to be there?

Heffner found a brillo pad/steel wool pad in my Muffler. Must have been left there from Borla when they were doing their finally cleaning! I called them and asked for a full refund, or a new exhaust, but they declined. Just kidding :p

Ah, yeah, the person who installed my Borla didn't notice it! Oh, and I guess I helped him out, but I'm a rookie mechanic, so I am not expected to notice everything! :D

I bought my car used, and one day decided to give a long-overdue thorough cleaning. Under the drivers seat, i found an empty gun holster.

When I was re-doing my interior I pulled the seats out and under the drivers seat was a California drivers license of some guy that lived in Sacramento.

Chunks of meat in the engine compartment. I thought I had a mouse who found a home over the winter and then met with his demise when I started up the car. My theory was proved correct when I did the thermostat, took off the intake and found a nest on the block.

Last night, while cleaning out under my seat trying to see why the passenger seat wouldnt slide up, I found a belt buckle that said "****" in some really cheesy looking colored beads.

At a recent Dyno day with vipers and Corvettes-- I opened my hood to cool it off and there was a large spongelike object on top of the engine. At first I thought my son had left a sponge from washing--nope---field mice had built a huge nest to keep warm. No critters, just the nest--guess they couldn't hold on at speed!

ha! That happened to me too!

I found a burnt roach or a half burnt joint in my car. It was the first Viper I had. (1994.) Good thing I found it before I got pulled over....phew!

The first time cleaning the interior after buying my used 96 GTS, I found about 5 rounds of .45 ammo in the ashtray. Pretty dumb considering how hot it gets in there.

Put a seat lowering kit in, which requires you pull the seat. Found a pretty agressive looking pocket knife and the remote for my car stereo.

I found the original sales contract (including the original owner's complete info) in the pocket behind the driver's seat.

_________

I have heard of guys stuffing steel wool pads to quiet down an exhaust system in order to pass smog test... maybe this was the case...
