Where to place jack to raise front end?

I want to put the front end up on jackstands to work on wheels,brakes, and remove front facia. I will drive it up onto a couple blocks to get the front end up high enough to fit floor jack under it.

Where is the best place to place floor jack in order to put jack stands under it and where is the best place to put the jack stands?

By the side sill you should find some welded loops (a little behind the front tires). You can check your owners manual as that will show you where they are.

I raise my car from the crossmember under the engine and put the jackstands under the frame beside the tires.
