hey boosted..im a lil confused..did you hit 130 mph or 131 mph? would love to see a timeslip if you have one..Not doubting you or anything..I,m a believer that in the right weather a stock 08 viper can hit 132 mph
most of my 1.6 runs were 129 to 130 mph. but i have gone 131mph at the fastest

Boosted,

You list 150 runs. How many runs have you been able to get on your stock PS2's? Did you have to replace them and with how many runs on them?

Have you found the PS2's to have a max heat cycle life and eventually not hook up even though they still have tread left?

When you do a burn out, do you go through the water box and how long do you burn them for?

Awesome times, I'm still working on getting under 1.8 seconds 60 ft times (with a whopping 15 runs under my belt)

Cheers,
George

i am still on the original ps2's though they are not looking so good. i just started (before winter) doing burnouts, i could not break a 1.7 without heating the tires. ranger told me that it helps and it does. i do not go through the water box at all. i do not want water in my fenderwells(believe it or not i only washed the car 3 times in 10,000 miles, i never get it wet and only use a california car duster on it). i drive around the water and back up to it. i do not dump the clutch to start the burnout in fear of wheel hop, i rev it up and slip the clutch into the burnout and hit the brakes lightly. if you smash the brakes it kills the engine and the clutch. i do have time slips but my scanner is not scanning, but i will take pics of them and post them

Highest trapp I saw was 130.5...But the time slips in the middle pic were not all of your runs..perhaps one of these is the 131 mph run??

None the less great documentation

those slips are just from that day here is a pic

sweet...Dang..pretty consistent 128-129 mph car with a few 130's at 600 feet DA..

Now take that same car on these negative 1300 and negative 1600 DA's that the zr1's ran 132-134 in and see how close it is..

Thanks for posting the slips boosted...My 2003 looks like an 08 with the new hood...But with only 480 rwhp it just cant perform anywhere near that level...Even to this day 550 rwhp bone stock still just really impresses me on the 08's...

Cant imagine my car with another 70 rwhp to be 550....Wouild be a beaste
