Which Brand of Cat?

PartsRack RT cats - fit great, very small, nice sound reduction

Roe 3" oval cats - barely fits, fairly big, very little sound reduction

I've used both and like the RT cats best because they reduce the noise more and fit better than Roe's. Now these were both 3" cats so I don't know about the 2 1/2" cats. If you want them loud get the Roe cats, they do fit but you have to kind of get them just right. I've driven 1,000 miles stock - 8,000 w/o cats - about 1,000 w/Roe and 3,000 w/RT cats - in that order all in about one year

Bear in mind, as MES has mentioned, that some cats are 3". The Borla cat-back system is 3" but has a reducer on the front end to fit the 2.5" stock system.
