....why Chrysler's new Fiat management will keep Viper beyond 2011? The WSJ reports front page today, that sweeping changes will be announced NOV 4th ending many Chrys, Dodge and Jeep models (but not "blue-collar muscle cars and trucks"), in favor of cars from Fiat, including its "premium sporty Alfa Romeo" in 2012...and that Fiat is basically holding its breath that Chrys can make it until then, further saying they won't inject any more money into Chrys. With this being said, why would a troubled car company with a cloudy future, keep a very low volume special interest marque in production.

Damn!!!...I didn't read the 2nd page of the article. Shown as pictured products being "subtracted from the lineup as part of the latest turn around plan" in 2011 in the Dodge Viper!!!, along with Dakota and Sebring!!! Alothugh Viper isn't mentioned in the written atricle.

F2V,
You might want to check out the thread on this in the General Viper Discussion forum. There's a lot of confusion on what this means (if anything ) but NONE of this is official at this point, and with an announcement from Mr. Marchionne scheduled for next Wednesday, this may be nothing more than rumor and media speculation. Stay tuned.

BTW, how are the repairs going?
