Just had it done this morning by the same shop that installed the 3M Paint Protection. Can't even tell that it is on. Now I can really start to put the miles on the new VOI9 and not worry about rock chips on the major wear spots.:drive:
If anyone in this neck of the woods is interested, I'll give you the # to call. Price is very fair compared to what I have heard others paid. :D

Phil, can you see it at all?
No, not at all looking out of the windshield. If you were driving and didn't know it was on, you would not know. It looks just as clear as looking through a factory windshield. From the outside, you can see the edges of the 4mil. thick material if you know where the border is. Other than that, you can't tell.
I figure it will save me wanting to replace the windshield after putting some highway miles on it and it starts to look like it was sandblasted. After awhile, all my vehicles windshields look like they have been sandblasted. N.Y. roads are not sport car friendly. I'm still waiting for the street cleaner's to come by and pick up all the sand the town put down over the winter. We also have the never ending road repair work that leaves debris all over. I don't plan on driving the Viper everyday, but all it takes is that one good crack in the windshield and I would regret not having done it. :drive:

Phoenix, AZ bye-bye IOWA
Thanks for the post. Wonder how it would look on my daily that already has 50k miles? It's really starting to show the road wear and the windshield on a range rover is not cheap. Is there a brand name and what was an approx cost?

I can find out the brand name for you. It cost $350 to have the Viper windshield done. I don't know how much the Range Rover would be. I know that the prices from the shop that I use are about 1/2 the price of what other's have paid and the quality of installtion is great. :2tu: Same goes for the 1/2 price less that I paid for my 3M paint protection. I am very happy with both. :D :drive:
