Cleaning the ENGINE?

going to blow out all the crap in my engine.I do not have an air compressor.Can I use a leaf blower? I use it to dry my car. thanks...

Nothing wrong using a leaf blower..would be better if you had a nozzle and air compressor to get to those hard to reach areas but the blower should be fine.

Nothing wrong with a leaf blower. I use my sears electric leaf blower all of the time after a washing. The last time I washed the engine, I used Griot's Engine Cleaner and rinsed it with distilled water. Followed it up with the leaf blower. I now use both an air compressor and leaf blower, one in each hand, at the same time. My neighbors think I'm strange. In fact, its about time to clean the engine again. I'll head out later this morning and perform the routine but I'll wear my spongebob boxers this time. I'm sure that'll get the neighbors chattering.

Yeah, I should've put the 12 pack down this morning. I need to get a job...I have wayyy too much time for SpongeBob and beer lately. That's NOT a good combination.

I do it all the time. Don't forget to blow out the mirrors and the base of the mirror when you swing it open. Mine used to drip for hours if I don't blow it out.
