Actually this schedule is off. They were still doing SSG in February and had just started a few black. The guys and gals at the plant are happy to see the different colors. They were pretty sick of seeing the venom red. There were A LOT of them there.

Love the percentage on the SSG. The most loved color, especially from the folks at the plant, and a low number production. Will be interesting to see what the final tally is on the SSG. I heard 300 coupe & verts but, will wait for the facts from the plant when they are done with that color for good.

anyone else find it odd that the SSG gets painted for (4) months and accounts for only 8% of the total production, and the violet gets painted for two months and accounts for 13% of production? doesnt make sense. am i missing something?

I also think that schedule is off -- being changed as they go. as for popularity of colors, I think more folks will need to see more examples of the other colors, in different lighting conditions (under the artificial light inside plant is the worst), etc., before we can really speak to popularity. I recall that some initial SSG photos were controversial, and that it wasn't until some outside/sun-lit magazine (cover) images that everyone was thrilled with SSG.

If you are talking about favorite wife quotes, this is one I use frequently:

When I want your opinion, I'll tell you what it is.

Sorry, couldn't help myself.:sadpace: Continue on.

Not sure if this is any indication, but my Red/Black ACR is now in D status.

I'd bet that Venom Red goes away, and White and/or Silver comes back.

I hope they drop SSG, it is ugly.

haha. Biased much? I think Venom Red might disappear. Does not seem that popular as many of the cars that you can locate for sale are Venom Red. It is one of those colors that you have to see to appreciate I feel. I would think that a tan interior would really top it off.

I actually looked at a Venom Red car before I bought my SSG. It looks pretty good but not as eye-catching as the SSG, obviously. The Venom Red is a beautiful Ruby Red. I actually saw a picture of one with black/tan interior and, just my opinion, but UGLY! It just didn't work for the car. But, hey, that's just my opinion.

Agreed. I would love to see that tan in person though. They should not have jsut made the insert tan, instead should have been the whole seat but I will reserve until seeing in person.

Saw Venom Red in person tonight - did not like. Dealer had $5000 addition to sticker for "market". I would pay less for it in that color, but not more.

'09's are when they jack the HP to 660+ to top the coming Vette (kidding).
