let me just say again...THAT CAR IS ****ING SICK...I was in awe man...sounds like a fighter jet on take off...outrageous

from a PM today

a good friend of mine who will remain nameless took his car out on this past saturday like we've done a few hundred times and we did some pulls from 45, 60, 85mph.....(not once did i need to go over 5k rpm's) I've done a few pulls since getting it back with a variety of cars, never once needing to go over 5200rpms. Well it never really hit me how hard this car pulls till my buddy and I ran. only cause i know his car as well as he knows his car. maybe better since ive worked on it.....lol

i wanted to let him drive it and he refused telling me...."dude, forget it, i know my limitations" i really wanted HIM to drive so i can hear for myself what it sounds like ripping past under boost. and i obviously trust him to drive it.

Doug Levin, you are the man !

thanx again for what ya did on my car. I cant thank you enough but i can tell ya, you're stuck with me as a customer forever !!

and of course now this friend is thinking hard how DLM can boost HIS car.... :)

LOL...VERY glad to hear it, Phil~! I know who you are talking about, and for him to NOT drive your car, really shows what respect your car is generating!!!! I personally cannot WAIT to see and HEAR your car myself! GLAD it all worked out so well...you waited long enough for it! ~juli

Sounds like you're enjoy the car to the fullest Phil! Keep it up and get some practice, because we need to run at Bradenton(single pass or best 2/3?) for a steak and beer. :2tu:

Did you go with the DLM air/water intercooler instead of the huge air/air?

That's Great! Glad to hear that. Sounds like you are very happy with the results. I remember you were having some setbacks getting your car finished. Hope to see your car run at Bradenton.
