I think my budget will restrict me to a 2008 coupe, but want to see whats out there. I would prefer a solid SSG coupe, but I'm becoming more open to other colors, preferably if they are lower mileage and modded. I think the only two colors I'm basically 100% against are Black and Venom Red.

It's gotta be a manual transmission, have sidepipes, and be a 10 cylinder...if your coupe has that, with mods, and its for sale, well then lemme know!

I know you'll find a nice car. Interesting however, your non-wanted last choices are my two favorites, LOL! Hope you find SSG, also a favorite of mine.

Don't settle. These cars are too expensive to settle on something as important as color or stripe choices. You keep leaning towards SSG, so find one!

So you're not ruling out a Dolphin paint job then?

Keeping an eye out for ya. Let's see if any winter deals start popping up.

Ryan the one that 1bad540 posted up is a NY/CT VCA member. I know the sales manager of that Audi dealership. PM me!

Thanks Nick...as stated above, I guess that car was either bought or traded into that dealership. It was listed here on the VCA classfieds not too long ago. If I'm gonna do green, it's gotta be solid! Thanks though

Ha! Well, Venom Red just isn't Viper looking enough for me, if that even makes sense, and black...well, I'm just not dealing with black EVER again!

Thanks Tony - you're right, but honestly mods are just as important to me as certin colors. I'd be willing to get into red/GTS Blue/orange/bright blue for the "right" total package of mods, mileage, color and location

Not to say THIS car is to worry about, but in general a few buddies and I were talking the other day, we wonder how many cars from the east coast are going to be resold after damage due to Sandy.

When Hurricane Sandy hit a week ago, it left nearly a million on Long Island without power. In South Shore areas such and Lindenhurst and Long Beach, a coastal surge leveled neighborhoods. But in St. James, it was the huge, old trees that not only ripped out wires, but smashed homes and cars, and though LIPA has restored power for more than 700,000 customers, St. James will take time, LIPA said.
