Changed my mind in the end - I canceled my order last month. Bernie emailed me yesterday and told me it came in, let me have it if I wanted...

Should be delivered Tuesday (I'll actually be out of town LOL)

WOW ! Congrats !
Wish my Dealer calls me soon

Canceling was sort of mentally liberating. i stopped fretting over it (Which, I was) and put it out of my mind a good bit. Stopped checking VOTS (which looks like Chrysler fixed by disabling it for SRT)

Funny that it was built right after...

Anyway, I am quite excited now and the months of waiting seem like a distant memory. Once the car is in the garage, I won't have much to worry about!

Everyone was right, once it comes in - you forget about the rest.

I hope SRT learns from this and improves, it was (and is) frustrating what has happened.

Congrats, so glad you got it! You can use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm the badge. When you get ready to peel them off make sure to use dental floss so you don't scratch anything.:)

Congrats! I know from your posts how frustrating it must have been but at least it is here for summer and you only missed a few months of driving it. You should bring it to the MD/VA VCA crab feast this weekend on the eastern shore.

Congrats on the new arrival! I hated that you had to cancel, but I understood. So glad it finally worked out and the long wait is over! Now the fun begins...BTW, you may be surprised how dark the windows are from the factory---I'd try it for a few weeks---JMHO

Sadly we are up in Boston this weekend! I'll definitely make it some local VCA events once I get the car! Hopefully head out to Summit sometime in July with some friends. Don't know if I'll track it then (I am a total novice), but at least will be fun to be out there.

Anything easy to debadge it? I want the SRT silver logos off the side of the car. Just a heat gun?

It shouldn't even need a heat gun. Some fishing line behind the letters should take it off quickly, and with the car being so new I wonder if you'll even have any tape residue.

I think the badge would have looked decent in matte black, chrome just sticks out imo

same color as grille would have been solid

SRT was made aware of your situation at the highest levels possible when you first posted about canceling your order. Don't know if it was a contributing factor or not, but rest assured the VCA has a vested interest in making sure your Viper ownership experience is the best it can possibly be.

Congrats on the amazing new ride!

Question,
Is it MY 2013 or 2014?
I also canceled my order when they could not determine if it would be a 14.
Thanks
