My dreams of owning a Viper... Crushed today with a 20 min test-drive!
I will agree the GTS viper does look better than a Z06,but to say the Viper has a better looking interior is simply not true.Yes the C5's interior is not that great,but the Viper's is'nt exactly German quality either.With equal drivers I would give the edge to the GTS over the 405 Z06.And of...- 91ZR1#661

How would the SRT fair against the GT from 0-150?
I noticed in the MT test that the Viper edged out the GT in the quarter mile, but they did not show the 0-150 figures.Which car would be quicker to 150? Just curious!- 91ZR1#661

SRT Engine Failure With Less Than 1k Miles Clocked
Probably an isolated failure.GM had similar problems with the new LT4 motors they used in some 1996 models.It turned out to be crane rocker arm failures.I would'nt be worried if I owned a SRT. 95yellovett- 91ZR1#661

Anybody looking for a new SRT/10?
For your info, I have a freind who is getting a SRT 10 and has not previously owned a Viper. ANYONE who has the money can get a SRT 10 anywhere,anytime.You just have to know the right person.It ain't no big deal-trust me! 95yellovett- 91ZR1#661
