FS 2 inch Seat Lowering Kit!

Best mod I ever did. Don't worry about the pictures. It's 2 spacers with bolts. That's it..... You'll be surprised how simple.....

    Warranty Question?

Does running your stock viper on a 1/8 drag strip void any aspect of the warranty?

Whew! Thanks ViperClub.org - Power Steering Cap

Whew! I am planning on going to Redline raceway tonight and run my viper on the 1/8 mile track. I'm cleaning up the car, checking the tire pressure, getting everything ready to do some runs. Nothing big - I've got a stock Viper - I'm hoping to run an 8 or maybe just a little under. But to...

Why high end car dealers are so stupid ?

ViperFreak2: I originally wanted a triple black vette. At one point I had even negotiated the whole deal. We all agreed on the price and everything. I came back to the dealership to actually purchase the car. When I went to the back with the salesman he stated "you do know that there is a...

Why high end car dealers are so stupid ?

First time (and last) I ever went into a BMW dealership the salesman jumped on me. I was young and wanted to look at some of the used cars. He was real short with me but at least answered some of my questions. I had the money, but didn't like his "financing" plans or options so I told him I...

Time for a vote on VIPER magazine

Viper only. But I guess the Gen II viper is already getting "old" so they have to do new stuff... Sometimes I feel like I bought a dinosour and it's a beautiful 2002 RT/10  It's amazing how fast things move and change. The Gen III must really be getting old now that it's been out for...

    Is $50k good price for 2001 RT/10 w/35000 miles?

Prices are terrible right now (buyers market). I bought my 2002 RT/10 in 2002 new for mid $60s (7 miles). I paid too much. I'm told now it's only worth mid 50s - with only 9K miles. But then it's not about the investment - I love driving the car - that is what's all about - "DRIVING the...

newbie questions about hard tops on the RT/10

2002 RT/10. 1. Canvas top never seen rain - don't know. 2. Hardtop seals great. Been in a downpour - not a drop of water got inside the car. Hardtop did not leak at all. 3. Car is quieter with hard top on (to the driver - it doesn't affect the sound for those outside the car :smirk: )...

Whew - it finally happened - now I can really enjoy my snake!!

OK - it finally happened. I got caught in the rain Saturday night. Not just a little sprinkle - but a down pour. I have been very careful to never take my snake out with more than a 0% chance of rain. It's a car which commands such respect. However, the pressures off. Finally I can now...

Part 1 Who lets their wife/Gf drive their Viper?

Same here, my girlfriend drove it when I had the regular seat that adjusted. Now that I have the 2" lower kit on the seat she can't comfortably reach the pedals - even with them adjusted forward all the way. Oh well - that's life. So I am the only one who drives the snake. She says it's an...

Holy Smokes, I just bought my Dream Viper!

Best color ever!!! VERY, VERY fast and it's invisible to long range radar preparation. i.e. Red and yellow show up miles before the graphite metallic. By the time I'm in range my Valentine has given me full warning or I've blown by the unsuspecting officer who is looking for those red and...

    HRE wheels - Charcoal??

Anybody have a picture of the charcoal HRE (547) wheels on a graphite viper? I know polished is a simple choice, but I am considering the charcoal finish to go on my graphite metalic snake. Before I drop down the cash, anyone have a sample?

Valentine One Radar Detector and Windshield Suction Cups

Once it's stuck - it stays. I have yet to have the valentine fall after it's been stuck for a minute or so. Sometimes when I take it right out of the glove box it takes a minute to get a good seal. But once it's stuck - it's stuck. BEST DANG detector in my opinion. It's saved my b* a few...

    Tools To Cut Stock Cat

I modified an old skill saw - tore off the brackets and the blade guides. Put in a metal cutting blade. It took me a long time to figure out how I was going to cut off the cats since I did not have the right saw. I actually bought a neumatic cutting wheel (it really sucked and would never...

Center console cracking problem!! 2 vipers so far!

Mine is cracked. I did it when getting in without the top on. Sat my palm on the spot and "crack." It doesn't look bad - yet, but I assume it will get worse. I am going to try and get it fixed under warranty next time I go into the dealer for an oil change. Let's see what happens.....
