Whew! I am planning on going to Redline raceway tonight and run my viper on the 1/8 mile track. I'm cleaning up the car, checking the tire pressure, getting everything ready to do some runs.

Nothing big - I've got a stock Viper - I'm hoping to run an 8 or maybe just a little under.

But to the point: I think to myself "The viper discussion group is always talking about the power steering cap and potential fires." So - I decide I better pop the hood and just make sure it's tight.

Holy cow!!!! I reach in to grab the power steering cap - AND IT FALLS OFF!!!

I mean it just f'in "FELL OFF!" Needless to say I tightened it down real good.

No kidding guys check the power steering cap.

Thanks a million guys - it might have just saved my viper tonight.

Fix it permanently with the HiPo Engineering Power Steering Vent Tube.

Sold through Archer Racing and Roe Racing.

Stops cap from turning, vents cap, routes excess fluid under reservoir during road racing, no drilling or cutting, nickel or chrome. It's also only about $30. Will be in Viper Magazine next issue.
