Hi everyone

We know that the track conditions weren't the best this week, but we thought it would be fun to ask everyone to post their best 1/4 mile times and MPH from VOI9. For those who's wives also participated, please post both his and her times.

To start, our best runs were:

Rob (Thurs) 12.2 @ 122 MPH
Cathy (Wed) 12.5 @ 120 MPH

We had a GREAT time this week and hope everyone else did too. Thanks to DC for a great event. We met many new people and had a great time with some old friends too. I can't think of a better way to spend a week.

We look forward to seeing how everyone did in the 1/4 mile this week

12.6 @ 115 for me
13.1 @ 112 for the wife in my car

The track was not prepped - my car was about a half second off.

My best was on Thursday. 11.6 sec and 127 mph. The treack seemed like it had better grip that day too. My best at autocross was 43.8 sec. I saw a 42.9 sec that day also by another driver.

12.46 @ 115.58mph
12.50 @ 116.54mph (ME)

13.44 @ 101.06mph
13.53 @ 105.80mph (WIFE)

I was pretty happy for a highflow cat-back car with no engine mods. 2100' and 100+ degree weather. 2000 ACR

I either need a lot more time with that third gear gate, or a new shifter. I missed shifted to fifth and couldn't find the gate about every third run. Wife did great for her first time at the track and about a total of ONE Hour drivers seat time.

Let me just start off by saying, I ****! So I know these times are bad, but oh well..

12.7 @ 114 with a 2.3 60' time. I really need to learn how to launch better...

I was in the 12s on all my full runs except 1. All I can say is I consistantly ****...my 60' times were always in the 2.2 and 2.3 range.

But, it was fun as hell!!!!

Our best time was 10.02 at 156mph. The track was ..hot not to good and we wanted some low 9's. Thanks to JH, Roe and the rest for some good competition. Special thanks to Hugh Hoard (driver #1) and Rob and Cathy, you folks are the best and we respect you all. Of all the cars that drag raced (800) we had the best time.

Thank all, you guys are great!

Hat's off to Cathy and Armen for the last race!!!! That was an exciting and close one to the end!!! I'm sure glad I didn't line up against her!!!

12.74 @ 117mph .007 light (myself)

13.89 @ 105mph .085 (1ST and only day my WIFE drove at a drag strip)

Not to bad for a gen1, I thought I would get lower at that low altitude!
Who was that gen 1 that smoked me, with the super charger and NOS, ran 135 mph

My wife Cathy ran 12.7 at 120 in her 01 GTS ACR (second time at the drags). She kept spinning off the line.

I did not get a clean run either. Traction was very limited,, spinning in 1st, 2nd and 3rd on street tires. On my best "launch" - if you want to call it that was still not good at 2.60 / 60', my 1/8 mile mph on that launch was 100. I missed third and couldn't get it into third or fourth. I coasted to a 12.01 at 102 mph.

Very embarrassing.

I installed the new Hurst shifter today. Yes, the one that I ordered several weeks ago from my local dealer, hoping to have it for VOI.

FYI, the new Hurst shifter is much nicer than the stock unit and fits all years of Viper. I believe it is standard on the comp coupe.
