You may have some trouble with a Canadian title depending on the state you live in. In Texas they require all "imported cars" to be gone over with a fine tooth comb for safety and emissions, and you can't register it until it passes all aspects of that inspection. The inspection had to be performed at a Houston Police Station...not your local "Jiffy Lube." I bought my 1996 from a Canadian dealership a couple years ago, and it was a bit of a pita.
