Speedometer accuracy?
I've always understood the faster you are going the less accurate your speedo will be, if it's off to begin with. I take a hand-held GPS with me if I want to make a run and check the speedo. White scratches/scrapes on rear - need help with repair
Shadow, On my 94 I used carb cleaner to get black scuff marks off under the nose. Be very careful, you could hurt the finish if you use too much.- BadVenm

SRT-10 wheels on a Gen I or Gen II car?
I looked them up on eBay. I asked the seller if they were repo's or take-offs. The seller said they are Factory take-offs with aftermarket center caps. Wow...$1,999.95 seems way to cheep for Gen 3 take-offs. He said $2,300.00 shipped to my door. Tempting!!!! I hope they aren't rip-offs. I think...- BadVenm

I would opt for the badgeless and wordless look, "All Slick", other than the nose badge. These cars don't need any markings, everyone knows what they are. Classic lines need to description.- BadVenm

Keprght, Luckily for me I did buy this car new, from the dealership, still on it's MSO. I didn't have to wade through a bunch of used or pre-owned GTS' like I did on my RT-10. :cool: :2tu: I could be wrong, but for those with these worries, wouldn't a computer have a manufacture date...- BadVenm

On the speedo disconnect issue..... A guy here tells me that he found out by accident some time ago that there is suposedly second odometer reading on these Vipers that no one typically knows about. He is a VCA member here and he supercharged his car. He kept getting check engine lights...- BadVenm

Thanks Rob. I did ask them that exact question. I was told that the waranty starts when the dealer fills out some card and sends it in. He (the dealership owner) assured me I get 36 months from date of pick up. I take him (the dealership owner) at his word....So far! Who is Tator?- BadVenm

What is the break in process for a new GTS
Viper Joe, I kinda had the same thoughts as you. On race cars we build a new motor or re-build a motor, we toss it on a dyno, "burn" it in at 1,500 to 2,000 RPM's for 10 min or so, run the valves, and then rip it wide open for 4 or 5 full dyno runs.
