I thought about this and let me clarify some things.
First we as in my wife and I own a Benz, and I do think it is a great car.
I brought up the NX because of the way he acted. My first post was the pc friendly version. I live in San Diego the traffic gets bad here, and I also drive up to LA...
Yep, I'm pissed and if anyone here is part of the MB forum tell this Yahoo to read this post, or link it on their forum. Here goes:
I'm driving up to LA to see my brother when everyone and their mom is stepping up to me. I then have this Red SL500 on my A$$ just pissing me off. He then...
I thought the post was pretty damn funny. I like that 3 step program. Woody he is just trying to help make the situation a little easier.
You have every right to be irritated, but honestly (Flame suit is a check) it will not help the situation in the long run. I hope you're wheels HAVE...
Ok I remeasured it again and it's not that much gap as in over an inch, but's it is there. I measured from the ground to the wheel well and it's over half an inch. This seems odd? You can see the difference once you actually look. Tire pressure is the same on both sides.
No it is not slanted on a hill. I hope I am not in deep ish. I have owned this Viper for about 3 month's and have got it running puurty. Except I noticed today that I on the right rear side my car looks like the damn thing is going to go 4 wheeling. So I measured it and it's about 4.5 inches...
Thanks for your work it was interesting to read. I hope you can work this out, I am interested to see what happens. I wonder if the VEC 2 would be better to buy in light of all this. Or can WCV work out the idle hang.
Hey Shelby3 it looks like you have Nitrous and a ROE Blower, wow. So you went back to the stock 307 gearing. I have a 250 shot of NX that I have not really opened up yet and I wondered about going to 355 gears. But if I would never have any grip than there is no point. What are your...
I just did this 2 weeks ago. I strongly suggest NOT using a jack. It does'nt work very well because you need you're helper to move the door a little as you adjust. My wife was able to hold the door up, she is small but works out. So they don't have to be that strong, but the key is to adjust...
Re: Anyone use Rich\'s shifter rod
Buy it. Really a great product for the price. You will "feel" the gears much more which will make for much more precise shifting. It does take a little more effort, but it's worth it believe us. You won't have problems finding gears at all.
Yep the weather is perrrfect. It's sunny with no clouds, but still a little cold to make great power, at least near the ocean. I look forward to meeting everyone at the next gathering later this month.
I have the same Q's. Do you buy the muffler delete? Or just have these pipes (like an X pipe) put in place of the muffler. Does any of these including the random Tech cat's help free up some ponies/torque. I know full exhaust setups do. Which is best (straight, X , or H)? Or is it Triple X...
Update.
I really appreciate everyone's replies and nice offers on this but for the time being I will not be able to do anything. Now that I have had the time to check the car out I see that the previous owner had the amplifier installed under my seat. And it is a huge amp. No seat lowering...
Re: \'97 GTS Questions??
I know this is an old thread, but I need a little help from the Viper Community. I recently purchased a 97' B/W and have been fixing little things here and their to get it up to standards (door adjustments, tune-up, etc).
I have discovered that there is a slight oil...
Thanks for the responses. I am 6'2.5 and fit ok. What I need to adjust is the clutch pedal. When I bend my knee up to depress the clutch and turn the steering wheel it hangs up on my knee (left side, door). I wish I could get some kind of reposition of the clutch pedal placement (Roe has...
