    For the Record the Fastest Street car was my friend's 96 Impala SS show car!! 10.19 at 136 mph. Is a LT-1 396 with juice... The Viper had Virginia's tag.. don't know why.. he did tell me he had no headwork and only headers and exhaust... I found it hard to believe since he trapped at 124 mph...

    Solid cam, stock oiling system = major problems

    Now, how streetable can a set up like this with a .700" plus lift really be? Does the block need to be changed to be capable of working with a dry-sump? What exactly are the limitations of the stock oil system in the viper.. oil pump?, pan, engine oil galleries.. Crankcase vent system? Thanks

    931 rw hp Viper

    When it comes to Zr-1's the peak power does not tell you the whole story. Those cars will make the power up to 7200-7400 rpms. That means you can run deeper gears and/or hold and pull harder/longer on each gear... makes a big Difference...

    Now you know that Morosso is the WORST sea level track in the country. All I see is stock GTS's run high 12's at 115 mph 90% of the time here. So no surprises there. BUT, I have also seen Doug Levin Viper in that same SLOW track pull a 10.0 at 150 mph... Imagine what that thing would run in...
