I forgot one last factor. I'm using a Greddy Profec II to control my boost. If I go the SCT route what do I use to control the boost? So I would still use my VEC and Profec along with the SCT for complete management?
They're potted to protect the components from corrosion. I don't think the PCM is a serviceable item. If you know there is a short or failed component on there just replace it. It's much easier than trying to take it apart and repair it.
You're better off replacing the amp at the same time. The factory amp is not very good. If you have to keep the factory amp you will have to try and find a DIN adapter to your aftermarket connector. I think I've heard it being done before but not very often.
With Radial tires I don't think you're supposed to swap them left to right. You're supposed to keep them on the same side and move front to back. Since our sizes are different I'm not sure you're supposed to rotate anything.
