I am really surprised no posted that a non-ACR GTS sold for $100k with buyer's premium at this past January's Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale. I had a chance to see this car and with only 9,600 miles it appeared to be perfect. As a former GTS owner I was amazed that there were no scratches...
Did you see this mid-80s Corvette with a Gen I Viper "body Kit" for sale. That sure is a bunch of work for very little payoff:

I have read a lot of hash words written about the Viper over the years, but John Phillips just goes off in the March 2016 Car & Driver. From inception to the Gen V, he disrespects the car:

I recall hearing some generic mention of addressing firewall heat transfer from the engine to the cabin on the Gen V, but is there any news of blockbuster technology regarding this and side-sill heat issues?
As an aside, has anyone spent serious time in a Ferrari 599? Does it roast the cabin also?
I sold my Viper a while ago, but reading all the articles about the new Gen V I cannot help but become furious at the continuous restating of this bizarre idea that Vipers cannot turn corners. WHERE DID THIS IDEA COME FROM? Was there an article in some early magazine that was somehow quoted and...
In the February 20, 2012 Autoweek, in the article covering the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the following quote appears where they are talking about the GT field:
"The rest of the GT class was a mix of Mazda RX-8s, in their final year of factory-backed competition, some chevrolet Camaros and a...

But worse yet, they are estimating maintenance cost for the...
I want to lower the price on my solid silver 98 GTS in my classified ad but I cannot see how to edit the ads or who I have to contact to get an edit effected. Help!
Solid Silver 98 GTS - ViperClub Classifieds
Received some decent looking e-mails from a buyer named Adam Torenden. Sounded pretty good but I noticed the first message came in at 3:00 am which made me think UK/Western EU/Africa. Sent some pics and got an e-mail back saying he was in England and talking about sending checks and test driving...
1) why is a blank key without fob $125 from Dodge! Ouch.
2) I have only ever had one key and it does not look like this $43 key for sale on e-bay. What did the keys you got with your car when you bought it new in 1998 look like?
My key has a logo like below, but is shaped like the profile...
almondexotictransport.com appears to have disappeared. I hear he is in China. What the heck is up with this guy. Is he a myth? or a real guy? And how do I find him?
Due to Gary Almond it looks like getting the car to Europe physically is easy, and perhaps a facilitating buyer would wire money prior to pick-up and make it very easy, but any ideas on some sort of escrow service that could be used to facilitate the deal?
I know someone who is a famous car...
I want to extend my advertisement:
Solid Silver 98 GTS - ViperClub Classifieds
but cannot figure out how to do it. Am I stuck placing a new ad when it runs out (which at least would "bump" it to the classifieds home page so would not be horrible), or can I extend a current ad?

Can I get a second on this being the worst factory Viper color combo - ever?
Next they will be doing dolpin decals at CAAP a la Trans Am "Frie Chicken" :rolaugh:
No boost but tasty modifications well done. Here is a link to the ad:

Had the car for six years and gotten it to a great place. Now I am trying to adjust my career and having additional $$$ in the bank is very comforting.
I have a service manual but haven't checked it out regarding driveshaft removal yet. I'm thinking once the plate is off it should be straightforward. Are there any obstructions I am not remembering? Belanger exhaust rear half maybe?
I am a lawyer and I was getting ready to sue a company who statutory agent (the person upon who you serve a lawsuit against the corporation) was someone named Anhtony Burghi. I thought that name sounded familiar and said to my paralegal "taht guy is an attorney." Hit google and was reminded of...
The Ferrari 599XX "production derived" race car (sounds an awfully lot like an ACRX) has run a 6:58.16 lap at the 'Ring. Come on ACRX!!
