What do you do with your Leftovers Stock Parts

As everyone can see most of us think oem parts have no economic value. However, mod parts do have value when they are off the car. Most buyers don't want to pay for the mods you made to your car. When I traded in my 03 I put the stock exhaust back on and sold the 5 year old Corsa track...

What are my tire choices for the track?

If your driving to the track, cups are your best choice. Be warned, cups are great dry tires but challenging in the wet. In a heavy rain, some of our club members will pull over and wait it out. The heavier the rain, the more challenging the drive.

    09 HP questions

My stock baseline on my ACR with 1500 miles on the car was 543 HP and 503 ft-lbs of torque . With Belanger headers & exhaust, 3000 miles on the car and 200 miles on the Mopar cpu , the best pull was 583 HP and 554 ft-lbs of torque. Weather conditions were similar and we used the same dyno.

So I was pulled over the other day...

Don't know if this is legal, but it sure looks good. A friend of mine went to a sign shop and had a sitcker made of his front plate. He made it a bit smaller than original so it would fit his front facia. From 20 feet away you'd never know it wasn't the real thing.

Scott Devon and $5.5M Bid for Viper

5.5MM, 10MM, 50MM OR 100MM is chump change in the big picture. Think about the billions that have been spent on GM & Chrysler so far. What ever they would get for the Viper brand won't mean a thing to the bottom line. So why sell it at all. If I were Fiat, I'd tuck Viper in my portfolio and...

Best Brake Pads for Track Days

As the other guys have said, for your first event stock pads will be fine. Make sure there is at least 60-70% of the pad left. Less than half and I would change them out. More importantly, make sure your brake fluid is fresh. If you're going to change the fluid and bleed the brakes, then use a...
