    A question on air filters. Do I need to buy the K&N cleaning kit for the K&N filters or is this a waste of money? Is the spray on oil of any value? Any reason not to just wash these with a mild dishwashing soap and water? Thanks.

    HELP - Am I being bamboozled?

    My car is at the dealer and they told me I need new brake pads (fine), but they also say that everytime I replace the pads they need to turn the rotors to "deglaze" them (or something like that) which of course they are charging me an arm and a leg for. Do I need this? Please help!
