Hi- decided it was time to have my gen 3 supercharged viper professionally tuned
I went through a round of mods two years ago - dumped my vec -2 and external pumps (which had worked flawlessly) on a semi canned tune which I had locally confirmed for A/F ratios
Installed in tank pump, bigger...
Thanks guys
I guess I will wait until next week
I was a little pissed that after four days in the shop the dealer's big news was
My warranty was void and they determined that I had a non-stock shifter - actually it was a mopar shifter
No idea about the problem at hand- only that whatever...
Not a big surprise
but my vipers clutch fell apart at 3500 miles
dealer found loose bolts were the problem and fixed it under warranty
I also had loose crank pully bolt etc.
Same shifting problem occured with only 1200 additional miles (800 with super charger)
I take the Viper to my local...
Had not driven my Viper for about two weeks- started her up and noticed that it was hard going into gear and the clutch pickup was almost imediate- right from the floor.
Driving her did not loosen anything up- shifting was hard- a little revs between shifting helped but somthing is wrong. Got...
You will love the S/C
silly power at all engine speeds but watch out for traction. I dumped my runflats (with 4K miles) right after the S/C went on-
I am running P-Zeros in 355 & 285 on stock wheels- but they do look a little funny in the back as the wheel gap has increased by 1/2 inch-...
I just installed a Set and I can finally hook up in second and mostly first,
the gap is not visably worse than stock but i am considering dropping the car by adding new shocks/coils
i will post a picture later this weekend

Tires arrived yesterday, had them installed this morning.
Biggest difference is that I can now go almost full throtle after the 1/2 change and not brake traction- I still have to roll into it but I can roll in to full throtle.
The runflats (with 6,000 miles) could not handle the power in our...
I want to change out my runflats without changing wheels. I am considering either the non-runflats pilots of the P-Zero rosso Asmmetrico in a 355/25 YR19 rear and stock front size- looking for better dry traction- plus I just got a nail in one of my rears and this is a good reason to change...
Just got back from the dyno where I base lined (with Vec 2) three weeks ago.
Rear wheel HP 613.3
Rear wheel Torque 606.73
I am running stock exhaust and a very rich program
the spike in my a/f graph happened when my rear wheels jumped on the dyno
Start tuning next week
That may be the case-I am a little out of date on my fluid dynamics- but the same would be true of the multiple brass tees that came with the paxton kit.
Guess I will see what the dyno tells me
Rich
not yet- just got everything installed
I have only run it a couple of times to make sure everything felt right
After I dyno on Friday I will start playing.
When do the fuel pumps kick in? I have run it through 1,2, and hard in 3- pulls like a frieght train but I have no idea if the pumps are...
I agree there are quite a few juntions, but compared to the paxton kit connections it is a lot more stable. I will eventually upgrade further when I figure out where I want to hide them.
