My ‘93 has the rivets / poppers on the dash & the black tonneau fits into the side window fittings & I think there’s another that fits into the seatbelt clip
Recently had the centre bezel off around the air controls & radio to replace the radio but when I put the controls back on the heat / vent no matter what position the switch is in sends the air up to the windscreen rather than the floor or face vents. I guess I must have knocked off a wire but...
Absolutely great news and well deserved. :yay:
We may be in the UK but you're still our best 'local' Viper dealer and technical expert.
All the best
Nigel & Mary
I recently had two new rear tyres fitted on my '94 Gen I RT/10 but on the way home I lost the Viper center cap off the original 3 spoke wheels. I've retraced the route a few times but cannot find it anywhere. :(
Knowing how many people upgrade their wheels from stock I was wondering if anyone...
I used a dish washer tablet and hot water on my 94. Shook it up then left them to soak for a day. Came out really clean.
Use a small bottle brush for stubborn stains
Had the same on my 94 Gen I. Spoke to Chuck Tator and he sent me a gaiter off a Gen II. Easy to fit once you take the centre console off. 5 or 6 self tapping screws hold it in place which can all be accessed from the top.
Give Chuck a call first before going to DC. :phone:
Interesting thread as my Gen I '94 RT/10 also spun the bearings on Pistons 3 & 4 a couple of years ago. Looked like oil starvation but until now I didn't know why. Makes more sense now.
Luckily I managed to get a brand new, zero miles crated motor off eBay from a Dodge Dealer. Now running it...
Hi Baz,
Sneaky Pete Viper Cuff Links arrived today. They look great and just in time for a Black Tie event we have later this month.
Cheque is on its way.

My '93 is stock except for smooth tubes and K&N filters. Had it for over 6 years and still love that original look - including the rear wing antenna and of course the plastic green doohickey.
My '94 has several mods: Magnum Competition Cams – camshaft, lifters, timing chain set and valve stem...
Hi Dave,
We are about 40 miles outside of London - north east between Colchester and Chelmsford in Essex. About 3 miles from a place called Witham.
About 45 minutes on a train from Liverpool Street.
If you have some spare time you are welcome to come visit. If the hood is still stuck you can...
Had the same problem when the hood release cable snapped on my 93 RT/10. Luckily I had another Viper I could use as a template but had to fabricate a bracket which I then used to slide along using the top of the oil cooler as reference until the catch released.
From the front you need to slide...
Hey Paul - is that a shiny ear ring in your left ear ;)
Glad you both had a good time - a couple of days earlier and Compensating could have joined the team and helped with the engine transplant!
Pity you missed the UK meet - a small but perfectly formed VCA club.

Hi Got One,
The Snake was left in the garage for the entire operation. Just took the fascia off to give us more space at the front for the engine hoist.
For the tight bits we used Baz - he's smaller than the rest of us :D
Patient has been off the road for a couple of years while I tried to locate the engine / parts. Such a great feeling when we cranked her over, the oil pressure came up and then we connected the fuel pump and away she went.
A great dream team to have working on your snake - Chuck the Wizard...
KcoBean - The crate motor weighed in at 724 Lbs.
Have to say a big thanks to Steve at Moving-Parts who did the shipping as well. Very smooth operation - only hiccup was 'young' Baz going to their old warehouse - not their new one.
SimiViper - Baz and a couple of others are going...
It's mine! :D
Thanks Baz for posting the pics and for helping move it half way round the M25 North Motorway in the UK. Also thanks to the Wizard for shipping and other support.
Lucky break - brand new, fully dressed motor with zero miles. Looks absolutely mint and only cost $8,500 US on...
I'd be interested. I've got two RT/10's - the stock 93 still has the original gaskets and 42k miles on the clock. I'm sure I'm going to need a set for it at some stage!
Nigel
I'm in.
As a UK owner with a US imported 93 Viper and a number previous owners I've got no hope of finding out who the original dealer was or what happened to the original sticker.
:headbang:
