    Well, I had EBC Red pads put in about 150 miles ago.... first 100 miles went fine, but since then Ive had this loud roar/glazing noise when I press the brakes pretty hard. It only happens when the brakes are hot... so it takes a good 20mins of driving to get to that point. When the car is cold...

    Also, when the "thumping" happens, its almost like im breaking rocks with my brakes or something.... Seems like it would typically be bearing symptoms... but its happened since my brakepad change... cars got 22,000miles

    2000 GTS, no ABS... Just got EBCReds installed about 100miles or so ago... at first everything went fine, but just recently Ive noticed when I press on the brakes hard, I get a roaring sound coming from the brakes. It almost sounds like my tires are feathered/gone but they're in good...

    needed afew places touched up on my black GTS... went to Dodge and picked up the correct touch up paint. Came home and tried to apply it using the toothpick technique.... but the damn paint is like glue... wayyyy too thick. It'll just blob everything making it lose worse. What can I apply to...

    I sure hope so... because otherwise, its a bit ridiculous :) But I believe by Canadian law they mus include all work done on the vehicle in the receipt write-up for safety/warranty purposes. For example... I got an oil change at the same time but the mopar filter they used had a hole in it...

    Although it is my mistake for agreeing on paying i, I think Im gona go ahead and write a letter to Dodge customer service. THEREs no way such work should take 3 hours... and if it does, the customer should not be billed for all 3 because its subject to mechanic knowledge

    Yeah, Ive learnt my lesson... 3 hour job for brake pads.... But I could swear I watched the guy for 3 hours and he was consistently working on it. Its not like the car was jacked up for 3 hours and he didnt do anything... and this is a so called "viper tech"... Kinda crazy.

    Im in Toronto, Canada. I could have probably done it myself but was a bit busy this week, so I decided to stop by my local Dodge dealer.... The price seems a bit outrageous... but its in line with their hourly charge of $108/hour.... I just dont think it should be taking 3 hours to change...

    I just paid $324 + tax for Dodge to change my 4 brake pads.... LABOR ONLY. I supplied the EBC brake pads. Took them 3 hours at the rate of $108/hour.... Does this seem a bit high to anyone?

    +1 to what kcobean said. Take it to a professional detailer who does interiors as well (some just focus on exteriors). suggest you find one from autopia.org ... or at least ask the guys there, im sure they'd guide you in the right directions for which products to use and such

    $500 birthday gift for my Viper

    well, its my birthday next week and the ol'lady (girlfriend) has asked me what Id like... Nothing in particular comes to mind except for maybe some mods for my 2000 black GTS. My car is bone stock except for upgraded audio.... so what do you suggest for $500 that I should request? :D I know...
