    Those cars are so far from "stock" it can hardly be used as a bench mark. The numbers posted by factory cars at the Ring are for a vehicle that can be purchased by anyone off the street. In my opinion, and I'm sure most will agree, that's a much better argument.

    I got my tune from Roe Racing for $160-ish and am very happy with it. Roe was the cheapest and he was very knowledgeable. I never felt like I was "hassling" him with my numerous questions.

    Re: one other question... Oil consumption has been a little higher than I would expect it to be. Roughly a quart in the past 1000 miles, but that is with a slight pan leak also.

    carfax.com Just spend the $34.99 and know you'll have an answer. Asking around on forums might not get you what you need, when you need it. For an extra $10, you can also get 4 more reports (5 total). That's nice if you plan on looking at a few cars.

I'd hardly say 73k is "lots of miles" but at least the car got some enjoyment and was likely maintained better than most of the cars running around here with 30k miles. People tend to think the 30k mile car doesn't need any servicing because it "only has 30k miles"...

    Body moldings

    I am looking to replace a couple body moldings on a 1996 GTS. -The black body molding/rubber strip in by the gas cap area (circular, surrounds the gas door and attaches to the body) -Outer body door moldings. The piece that goes the length of the door and meets the outer door with the window.

    If you do end up cutting them off, sell them to a scrapper/recycler. Around the Chicagoland area we would get an easy $75-100 each due to their size. The material in side them is worth big $$.
