02 RT/10 Air Intake Performance

I'm wondering what others have experienced with air restriction on the OEM NACA port with the stock intake box.

I have the stock system with K&N's and smooth tubes.

How beneficial in hp gains is it to go with an aftermarket system that draws air from under the hood with a heads and cam mod?

Does anyone have any dyno results for this?

If you are grabbing air form under the hood, you will lose power as your intake air temps will rise, which will cause you to lose power

Yes I understand hotter air would be pulled in lowering power, but what about restriction of air flow?
