12" front rims - will they rub the hood?

12\" front rims - will they rub the hood?

Does anyone know if 12" wide, front 18" rims on a lowered car would cause 305's to rub the hood. I am certain that it would sandblast the paint job, but would it crack the hood?

Only if you turn the wheel to the max. And even then it still might not with 305s.

My fronts are Purners, 12" X 17" with 315x35x17 and have plenty of room. I don't know about 18" but I would think you will be fine at stock vehicle height.

I ran 18 x 12 with 305s on, no problem, if you open the hood make sure the wheels are pointing straight.
