I just purchased a 1993 without A/C. I was wondering what the cost would be to have it installed. Also, the car has been updated with a GTS hood and I was wondering if these hoods are notorious for having problems with fitting? Any information would be appreciated.

Adding AC- Best way is to find used parts from a donor race car. Price $2500-$3000 installed

Hood Fitment- Don't know, would have to see pictures of your car to see if there is a problem.

Rather than add AC and change the hood, sell the 93 and get a car with what you want.
I don't think you will be able to do the changeovers for a reasonable amount of money.

I added AC to my '94. The total cost came to 2,600 with install. Most of the items in your car are the same as an AC car. Even the heater core housing. The only difference is that the AC parts are not installed. You can simply open that up and install those items. Or, you can get the whole thing and swap the housing out and sell yours to someone removing AC. Otherwise, it is all about adding missing items. I'd check with the tuners and SC installers. You may be able to make a deal. I got my system from Jon B. at the Parts Rack last year.

Good Luck!
