Look at the outside edge of the cap and you will find a slot. A tool(in the owners manual) came with the 96's. Looks like you put 96 wheels on a 95 so likely no tool unless the GenI wheels had the same cap? Without the tool put electrical on the wheel next to the cap slot and on the cap slot, then use a large flat screw driver and slowly pry the cap. Even with the origional tool I would use tape.

If you want the tool call Chuck Tator or Bob Woodhouse.

I take a flathead in a cotton glove, the actual pry action that pops the cap is past the lip of the rim and the cap, so far no nicks on mine!

Slide a piece of electrical tape between the rim and the tool so you don't scratch the rim. The centercap pops out so hold it with your hand when you pry it loose.
