99 ACR no comfort group radio question

Howdy folks-

question for those in the know. i purchased a 99 acr second hand (3400 miles, sweeeeet!) and the car was a no comfort group car. the original owner had dealer install a/c and fog lights but decided to put the stereo in himself

. my dilemna, NO radio reception.

I reviewed the service manual and there appears to be an antenna booster on the cars. my question, is this part on an ACR with no comfort group? (thought i'd ask before i pull the dash!).

I do see a wire up the middle of the windshield. i figure the antenna is there. thanks for the response.

It wouldn't hurt to check a Stereo Shops pricing on Amp. Some parts from DC are pricey! If their price is better then DC go for it, If not give me a call.
