AC condensation

Is the AC compressor always running no matter where the dial is set? The last couple of days have been in the 60's at night so I have been running the heat with the vent knob set on the right side for defrost, yet when I park the car it is still dripping wet with condensation. Anyway way to set the knobs so that the compressor isn't running? The car is an 01 RT/10

Defrost = ac compressor running. Keeps humidity down to defrost.
