Here are some pics of my car after 9+ hours of detailing. I started with Pinnacle wash, paint cleansing lotion, clay, 3M fine cut, 3M swirl remover, Meguiar's polish, and Pinnacle detailing spray. I plan to put a coat of wax on tomorrow, but I was worn out after a full weekend of cleaning.

Paint looks real good. Make sure you get plenty of coats of wax on it. It will reduce the frequency of having to spend all the time you did today.

John, thanks for the compliments. I plan to put several coats on!

Casey, there are two one-off items in my compartment that I dont want anybody to see. Thus, I skipped the engine pics. Besides, you can just look at TwinVipers' motor photos and get the idea ;)

I'll take some full res pics tomorrow if the weather holds off. I took a lot of small ones today to save disk space.

Car looks badass! You have it for sale if I'm not mistaken over at the alley right. I just bought a crap load of stuff for my car as well gotta learn how to use it all. Do you use a porter cable when detailing?

I use the porter cable for more than half of the detailing process. It is so easy to use and it produces awesome results. What products did you buy?

Yeah, that is my car for sale on the Alley :2tu:

RedSnake: AWESOME. The car looks beautiful -- just gorgeous. I've been thinking about getting a porter cable polisher lately. You note that it's easy to use. I'm still a little worried about screwing up my paint with it. Is it easy to get the hang of?

Again, yours looks sweet. I've got a few coats of Zaino on mine, but jeez, yours blows it away.

Thanks Bob. I just dont like the ride quality of my Eibachs. The stance is great, but the that's about it.

CSTER, buy that porter cable now! It is the best money you can spend towards detailing your car. You cant mess up your paint with this thing. As long as your car is clean and no dirt gets trapped under the pad you are fine. There are car care forums all over the net that you can read up on how to best use your porter cable. If you dont feel comfortable after your research, I suggest practicing on your daily driver. If that is your viper, just snag somebody you know and ask to use their car for practice. You'll see that you cant mess it up, and they'll get a free wax job out of it ;) I follow this format exactly: (you'll have to type in v i p e r a l l e y into the link)

Casey: I dont know if they are or arent. I have a kickass methanol tank that I dont want anybody to duplicate. Are you doing **** injection?
