Air Conditioning Blows

Has anyone found a way to get more air and cooling out of a Gen ll GTS a/c unit? Summer heat has arrived in Florida and this thing just barely keeps cool. And if you have to stop in tarffic for any amount of time, forget about it.

Check the freon , also try to get the motor to run cooler. Do a search on that topic for tons of info.

Sometimes it can be due to a faulty check valve in the air conditioning system. There is a Technical Service Bulletin that covers that issue. Check with your Viper tech.

I had the ac checked out last year and they found no leaks or problems. I just assumed when I bought the car that with a motor that big, the ac would work fantastic. It's doesn't

Does anyone else think their ac is not up to par for a hot summer days or is it just my Viper?

A few things help in FL.. Tinting windows makes a big diff. Yanking cats will help tremendously too. Other than that, your car should freeze you out, mine does..

U may just have to jump start your A/C rather than just freon. I had a leak late last year so I put in new condensor / evaporator,etc. Works even BETTER now.

I had read that, taking out the cats had actually made the car hotter, or at least the sills? And yes my windows are tinted.

When you say jump start your A/C are you saying replace the condensor and evaporator?

My A/C is OK with just me in the car. But if I have a passenger on a hot day and have to share the vents, it *****.
