Alarm set problem

97 GTS I changed the battery and now the alarm won't set. I held both buttons down, pointed to the computer and it still won't set. Suggestions?

tator had to force the puter on mine when i got it. he needed to use a DRB to do it.

Will the green ground wire reprogram trick work for this? ?

The green wire reprogram is worth a try. If this doesn't work see if you can borrow a alarm different computer (year matters) so you can drive your car to the shop. The alarm module is easy to install... its bungee corded in. I'm not sure, but maybe Dodge can reset the alarm module alone. (with out the car)
