Alternator

My alternator on my 1996 RT/10 has packed in.

Is there any advantage in getting an uprated one (I have a Paxton system running 6-7lbs boost) or should I just go for stock?

Needs to be stock.
The PCM controls the field circuit (rate of charge) in the charging system.

Best to not try to upgrade that part of the car.
