Moving to Europe and my V1 is not pig compatible.
Before I put it on e-Bay, anybody interested over here ?

We are talking a 6 month old Valentine 1 with laser + the concealed display.
Everything is still under warrenty and works A+
Comes in original packaging + invoice + manuals.

I paid 450$ shipped to my door for this.
It can be yours shipped to your door for 400$.

Drop me a PM if interested.

I am ready to order the forth V1 in the family but I have never even used the concealed display that I have had for several years. $50 discount is not much on a used V1...imho of course.

the V1 works great in Europe ! dont sell it. Have you spoken to V1 they ship them all over Europe.

not sure if they are legal though in some countires, in France they are banned and you face a huge fine/confiscation if caught using one. In the UK its a different story, legal

Forget about this. Brainfart. I'm taking it with me.
Markus & Neil : thanks for the advice. You saved me big time on this one. Guess I owe you a drink when we meet next summer :headbang:

This is the reply from Valentine :

We do sell many to people who use them in Germany and Austria. The frequencies we cover are:

10.500 GHz - 10.550 GHz (X-band)

24.050 GHz - 24.250 GHz (K-band)

33.4 GHz - 36.00 GHz (Ka-band)

13.400 GHz - 13.500 GHz (Ku-band)

820 - 950 nanometers (Laser)

The unit is programmable. Please see our web site at www.valentine1.com. Click on ASK MIKE, then TECH REPORTS, then TECH REPORT #3.

We are not detectable by the VG2 radar detector detector. There is a new RDD that is being used in Canada and in the US in Texas. We are working on becoming invisible to this; but aren't there yet.

There's new digital devices springing up here which aren't detected by the V1
as they dont transmit anything, it captures everybodys front plate as you pass it, then measures your average speed over about 4 miles with another box of tricks, if you have been speeding you a ticket and fine. Nice.

We had a camera ruling over turned in 2002, they used to be hidden behind signs and painted grey or dark green so they blend in with the background, but know they are bright yellow and have to be visible. They still get chopped down by angle grinders or ripped out of the ground, in some laces the police have CCTV watching the speed camera's you've got to laugh at that one

Turn the K off if you come to the UK, the cameras here are Ku and Ka

some hardwire by tapping into the fuse box, my electrican removed the fuse box and found a spare iginition switched relay behind it and used that for mine.

If you look carefully on the right hand side you can just make out the cable,
it then runs across the roof lining, tucked under the windowscreen trim and down the door pillar back to the fuse box

I have mine clipped to the front of the visor as far to the right as it will go, don't need the annoying beeper since the lights are only a foot from my face and in my field of view. I tapped the power to the map light so I have to remember to turn it on and off. Tom

Sorry, I don't need it because I'm a law-abiding Viper owner who never speeds, even with my Roe Supercharger.

Has anyone tried this rear view mirror that houses the V1? Pretty slick idea but it was meant for an BMW M3 and I wondered if it would work with the Viper rear view mirror mount.
