Anyone done emissions test in MD?

When I bought my viper it had already been "liberated" from it's mufflers. Will I have a problem when my emissions test comes up. A friend tells me they won't even test the car because of the ground clearance? Anyone have any experience on the subject.

I took the test last summer, and all they did was stick a DRB tool on my car and check for any failure codes. They didn't put it on a dyno, or check any tailpipe emissions.

Mine was basically stock at that point, but had a corsa cat back.

I got an exempt certificate, car too low to go onto the rollers.

I take mine to the testing station near the Ravens training facility. Every time they just give a exempt certificate. I;m glad as I have no cats or muffs.

Do NOT take it to the one in Glen Burnie near the mva. They will insist on the roller test. I have heard Owings Mills gives waivers.
