How big of a job is it to swap?

Anyone know how this cam compares (performance wise) to a stock 94 RT/10 cam? It is worth the effort?

Is it a direct drop in (ie: same springs, lifters, cam gear)?

Its a decent size job.

I'm not sure of the advantages over a GEN1. I do know a few guys that de-creampuffed their cars and went with a 96-99 cam.

96 cam is unique to 96 cars
Combine it with T& D roller rockers, and headers and you will be shocked at the HP pickup - especially if you have a creampuff motor

I use the 96 cam in my 2001 race car. Stock motor dynoed at 496 rear wheel HP

Sorry, but its not a stock motor anymore. duh! Stock is how it came from the factory. Putting a 96 cam in a 2001 is not stock. Also, I hardly doubt you got 496 off just a cam swap in a 2001. So there is obviously a lot more to this story.

PS. I have a stock creme puff doing 478 rwhp and 526 rwtq, if we are counting previous year viper parts in our block.
