Are left & Right power window motor/regulator units the same?

Are the power window units on Gen II the same on both sides, or is there a driver's side and passenger's side mirror image units? Manual does not say and I don't have parts number list.

Chuck, have you seen many of these wear out? My 01 windows are pretty slow to roll up, they do work they are just slow.

Do the Gen III's use a different regulator?
