Are original wheels important- long term speaking

I am looking into the purchase of a used 2008 Viper, however I am considering switching out the original H spokes with some 2006 model year 5 spokes from the selling dealership. Will people care much about the switch later on

Also, are there any differences in the 5 spokes year to year?

My 2-cents, yes! Put the five spokes on and be happy BUT hold onto the original wheels! In twenty years when your at a car show and the judges run your VIN#, the wheels will match [more points].


The five spokes are all the some for now.

Hey, nice pic.

The H-spokes are my favorite stock wheel that are available -- just a bit different than anything else you see out there.

I was getting ready to go aftermarket with the wheels, had I kept it. Most likely an HRE in black or gunmetal. Of course, I'm not a huge fan of shiny stuff..

Lawrence, So you bought it??? If so great for you and great for Adamlotus.

With this color, go w/foreglines or HRE's with black centers (and silver rims). I saw a Hennesey viper with that same combo at the car show in Irvine 6 months ago. If I had the cash and garage space I would have bought it on the spot.

The H spokes are ugly who would want them on a car. I will give you $400 for them.

Get the 5 star copperhead wheel. Those are the best looking stock wheels IMO.
