Are spacers required if lowering SRT Coupe

As I've been reading the threads I notice the mention of the use of wheel spacers if you are lowering the car. My wheels will remain factory so will I require these spacers for my 06 Coupe as I'm lowering it by about an inch? If I do, where would I get them?

They are not needed and only increase the chance of rubbing. With that said, adding spacers to the factory wheel DRAMATICALLY improves the overall appearance of the car, particularly when lowered.

Who makes the best spacers ?,and what about those special lug nuts that I've seen to get a little extra bite of threads? Who makes those? I have a genII, if that maters.Thanks
