Attachment of the driveshaft to the pinion yoke - two different ways???

I bought a used third member with 3.55 gears and upgraded posi unit installed by Unitrax. Unit looks in great shape, but I have noticed that although my 98 has the flat, deforming straps (same as on the ends of the half-shafts) to hold the rear driveshaft u-joint to the pinion yoke (and the manual shows the same), the new diff has hard u-bolts that go through the pinion yoke and are attached by nuts on the diff side. The differ cam out of an 01 I believe, but it is still a Gen II. Please tell me these two systems are interchangeable (hopefully that the u-bolts are a Unitrax upgrade). Yeah I know call Unitrax, but I just figured this out, they are not open, and I really wanted to get this in on Saturday and I am freaking out a little.

Update. Called Unitrax and found that the u-bolt/yoke unit was an upgrade part they used to use in place of the stock strap unit, but they can no longer use it as due to overseas production issues Dana/Spicer no longer manufactures the yoke. U-bolt kit is still available as Dana/Spicer part number 3-94-18X for about $5. So if you have one of these it is a collectors item and might be worth some $$$. Can't believe something good actually happened during this last batch of work onthe car. Happy surprises are good surprises.
