Just received my rollbar from Autoform. The installation instructions
were vague and incomplete. And no pictures
I did a search on installation and found one thread. If anyone
has any advice and pictures it would be helpful.

Appreciate your help,
Fast Eddie

There were instructions? I didn't have any in mine when I got them.

I figured out the main bar but haven't tackled the side-bars yet.

The installation of the bar itself isn't that bad... remove the seats, remove the T panel, cut the fiberglass to make it fit, find the bolt holes, then bolt it up.

But that was an RT. I don't know about the GTS...

I called Autoform, spoke to Steve. Steve said they might have some better install instructions "somewhere", but didn't know where to find them!
I asked about pictures.....outta luck also.
He did say he would be available for phone support for questions as I do the install. That was appreciated. Also, he said the bulkhead filler panel would have to be modified to fit  He suggested using file and sandpaper and keep working it until it fits. :(

Ed,

Try calling Nick at Modern Performance, or Chris Barone.... they might have some experience!

Hey Joe, actually I saw Chris Barrone today, he gave me some good advice
but he basically said once you get the bar inside the car its kinda self
explanitory. He said the hardest part would be fussing with the bulkhead panel
and getting it to fit.
I forgot about Nick at Modern. :smirk: If I run into a problem I'll call him also.
Anytime you start a project like this you think "ahhh piece of cake, I can do this" Then the parts come in and you realize the joy and comfort of expert
(paid for) installation. However, for me the fun is working with my son and talking about our next project. BTW- my son just looked over my shoulder and corrected me....its not fun working with my son, rather watching my son do all the hard work! ;)
Anyway, hope to report back to all with results of a successful rollbar install.
Think I'll take some pics and post in illustrated upgrades.

Happy New Year to ALL
