Bat\'s head lamp overlay questions

couple of questions as I didn't know these were available until I saw the other thread.

I track my car and tape off the headlamps every time. Would the overlay protect as well as duct tape?

Can the overlay be made in a thicker material?

Is it easy on and off or once applied it stays on.

Can a bigger piece be made to cover the fog lamps that can be reused but not blow off at 150 MPH?

How puncture resistant is the material.

Can a piece be made that covers the front windshield like a tear-off?

Hell..can I vacuum seal the whole car except for the wheels and coolers on track days (OK...that question I'm kidding)

I already have a cracked one....

I dang near had a busted windshield at the last event. A big rock went so close over my head in 6 I actully refexed ducked. Damn near ripped the HANS straps (LOL)

I bought the headlight overlays from Gratiot's. It was a very heavy vinyl-like material. It went on perfectly and you cannot tell it is on, it is a permenent solution. The kit also came with the fog light overlays.
