I have the aluminum vents & a/c knobs too. I think they look great. Makes the interior look much more expensive. Nice Mamba!

"I guess I will have to decide between satin, or polished chrome"

It's a hard to decide between the two  . I decided on satin finish to match the rest of the interior...

Ricky, you need to finish the RBI install and post some pictures...

I simply love mine...Should be a factory option. :2tu:

Haha, :) but to be fair the man has one sweet ride with enough perfomance mods and cannot contain his Viper addiction :2tu: Nor should he.

DSR207 - do you still have your stock shift knob? If so want to get rid of it?

Sorry guys, but it's not for sale. Every mod the car has is reversible, so as a habit I always keep original equipment.

Is that the 'shorty' first strike shift knob and low profile bezel?

They list the standard first strike as being shorter than factory as well.

What was the installation procedure?

It's not the "shorty", and yes it's shorter than stock by about an inch and that is the factory bezel, takes about 10 minutes to install, unscrew the old one and the screw the new one in...

What are most people purchasing the chrome or the Satin? I cant make up my mind for my 04 Mamba. I think the chrome is nicer but dont know if it is too much.

The chrome is nicer no doubt, but it depends on what you want to do, I wanted something that would match the rest of the stock trim, which in this case is satin as you know.
